I went to attend and speak at a conference and here I am with nothing but a sweatsuit to wear. I have since calmed down but once I realized that they only want to reimburse me $25.00 my level of irritation began to rise again. Any suggestions?
Shop On Sale asked:

When you are going on a trip, whether it is for business or pleasure, one thing that you have to prepare first is your luggage for travel.

How big your luggage should be is always an important thing to consider because different airlines have different policies when it comes to this.

It is a fact that every airline company has luggage restrictions, and you have to abide with these. So before you start packing your things, find out with your airline what these restrictions are.

Although, these restrictions or guidelines may vary from one airline to the next, generally, the limit set for luggage for travel is 16” high, 24” wide, and 9” deep, so it can fit well in the baggage compartment. Another general rule is for smaller bags to be placed under the seat, and larger bags to be kept in the overhead compartment.

If you have a carry-on bag, it should not weigh more than forty pounds, and if you are bringing something that needs to be checked in, your baggage should not exceed 50 to 70 pounds; beyond that, you will have to pay a certain amount.

Some airlines do allow large-sized bags for the first luggage, but additional pieces of luggage will already bear certain limitations. If you are flying first class, you may be allowed to carry more weight than what is usually required.

Most airlines charge $25 for every piece of luggage, however if you pay online before the actual date of your travel, you can pay a lot less, like $10, maybe, for each piece. Then during the actual checking in of your luggage for travel, they will be weighed, and if they turn out to be beyond the weight limit, you will be asked to pay a certain amount.

If your carry-on bag weighs more than the weight limit, you will have to remove some of the items and transfer them to the luggage for check-in, or you will have to submit your carry-on bag to the flight attendant for the duration of the trip.

Keep in mind, too, that some airlines consider laptops as carry-ons, so if you have a carry-on bag, that will count as an extra piece of luggage. Many airlines are strict when it comes to luggage for travel regulations and policies.

So, it is always wise to bring along only the necessary stuffs, and never to overload your luggage for travel.

Credit Card Vending Machine
