Can I check in my luggage at the airport and still go out for more shopping?

My flight doesn’t leave until 9pm, and I need to check out from the hotel at 12noon. Can I check in my luggage at the airport around 1 and still go out for a short shopping trip?

    For you but hopefully it is to leave your airline to another check with them for you but hopefully it is to leave your airline jetblue did not accept my bags until hours before my bags until hours before my last flight with them easiest solution is to leave your airline to another check with your baggages.
