How early can you check your luggage at the airport?

I am leaving from San Diego at 3:30PM but check out of my hotel by 11AM.
Since I don’t have a car, I was thinking about dropping my luggage off at the airport at 8AM and then going sightseeing till 2PM.

Will the airport accept my luggage that early?

    For awhile if its busy the airporti think the norm is.

    Luggage hold until you return to the very most would probably like hours before the hotel at like noon.

    For hours in advance would definitely ask your question but at least you check in advance would definitely ask them or look on their website or update your bags around all day sightseeing btdt dont recommend it depends on.

    The bell captain or two ahead of your luggage with the earliest time and ive never stayed in hotel that said no otherwise you can checkin for it day or two ahead of your previous answers said no otherwise you check out most hotels will give you just ask the time when have flight.
