What if i have more than the required inches on a luggage?

ok so we’re planning on flying with KLM to a different country (over seas) and they say our luggage has to be 62 inches total (l+w+h) but we have 67 inches … will they let us pass or not?

    The inches you just had to pay more but no theyre afraid of bombs etc if the inches you cant do anything about it.
    The weight was over the limit you cant do anything about it.

    For checked luggage their emphasis on size is about 125 fee.
